Hormone replacement therapy via Pellets

Women - estradiol/testosterone every 3-4 months Men - testosterone every 4-6 months

Minor procedure where tiny pellets are placed under the skin. The procedure takes approximately 20-30 minutes. No strenuous exercise for 24 hours, no submerging for 3 days. Leave steri-strips in place until they fall off. repeat labs in 4 weeks to peak hormone levels. f/u as needed or ASAP if symptoms of redness, swelling, pain or drainage develop at insertion site.
